Spring Equinox Labyrinth Walk & Book Review
Thursday, March 20, 2025—1:00pm
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the Spring (or vernal, meaning “new” or “fresh”) Equinox occurs this year on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 4:01 am in our time zone. This marks the “official” start of the spring season, and when day and night are balanced with nearly equal light and dark in the day. And we know that balance is a key factor to everything in life! It brings a sense of harmony and peace. Take time to sit in stillness or walk the labyrinth and reflect on your inner world. During the equinox, this can help you find peace within the chaos and restore emotional balance.
Now that daylight “wins out” over darkness, let’s celebrate with a walk on The Labyrinth at Abbey Road, or sit in stillness in the pergola, on March 20 at 1:00 pm, releasing the chaos and being thankful for more sunlight and warmer weather leading to the refreshing new colors of spring and a time of new life!
Following the walk at approximately 2:00 pm, all are welcome to join in a beginning review of Practicing the Way, a New York Times bestseller by John Mark Comer. From a reviewer, “If we would all follow in this Way, our lives would change and the world would change.” For further information, please contact Jamie Koehler at 573- 270-5491.
